Stations of the Cross
Note about stations
Feel free to go to the stations by yourself or in small groups.
If going in groups, be respectful of those that are doing the stations by themselves.
You are encouraged to go at your own pace. Take as much or a little time at each station as you’d like.
The stations may be visited in any order with one exception; we ask that you go to the confession station (Jesus is Crucified) before going to the communion station (Jesus promises his kingdom to the repentant thief).
If you don’t have enough time to visit all the stations during the service, you are welcome to stay after service in order to complete them.
When station time is coming to an end, the worship team will begin to play music. If you are ready, make you way back into the sanctuary for the conclusion of the service.
Note about communion
During tonight’s service communion will be served. Before coming to receive communion we ask that you:
Be baptized and believe you have sinned and are in need of a Savior.
Believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit, you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
Desire to turn from your sins and with the help of God, intend to do so.
Believe that Jesus Christ is present with His body and blood in the bread and wine offered to you in this sacrament as a means of His grace.
If you are in agreement with the above four points, we welcome you to come forward and receive God’s body and blood given to us for forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of our souls. If you are not in agreement, we ask that you would not partake at this time. If you wish to receive a blessing, we invite you to come forward, crossing your hands over your chest as you approach the altar so that you may receive God’s blessing instead. We ask this for your benefit and ours.
