Because God is love, He treasures relationships. At St. Mark, we want to welcome you into our church family and get to know you better.

Our Welcome Home class and orientation process are our basic introduction to St. Mark and are designed to explain what we believe and what we’re all about. Whether you’re looking to take your first step in a relationship with Jesus Christ, get baptized or get plugged into a small group, our team is here to offer you guidance and support.

“God’s unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave him great pleasure” (Ephesians 1:5 NLT).

New Member Classes – 2 Phases

If you are new, it is best to complete both the Welcome Home classes and Orientation. If you are transferring from another Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod church, then simply complete the orientation. New member Sundays are held regularly during the 9:30 AM service.

1. Welcome Home Class

Next class begins January 15
Sunday mornings from 9:30 AM - 10:30 PM in modular 4 (north of parking lot)
Learn about: the Bible, 10 commandments, Apostles’ Creed and the Lord’s Prayer.

2. Orientation

Sunday from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM with free lunch
Next orientation is February 12
Learn about: St. Mark’s vision and structure, volunteering, baptism and communion
